The Tuning Fork are proud present September’s edition of Thursdays I’m In Love happening on Thu 22 September at Tāmaki Makaurau's favourite downtown venue. Tickets are $10, and are available from moshtix.co.nz! 

Throughout the night you’ll be entertained by the dungeon power techno of Grecco Romank, the mesmerising soundscapes of Proteins of Magic and the rose-tinted neo folk of Jazmine Mary.
 
For those new to Thursdays I'm In Love, every month The Tuning Fork selects three of the best acts from throughout Aotearoa and hosts them for a special one-off performance. Audiences are promised to fall head over heels for every band on the lineup, discovering new faves at every show.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Grecco Romank: New Zealand outsider dance three piece Grecco Romank is filmmaker Damian Golfinopoulos [STRESS CADET], classically trained singer Billie Fee, and former bus driver/drummer Mikey Sperring [DRAB DOO RIFFS & BIB KIDS]. Since their nationwide tour, they have been infecting audiences with their brutal yet charming live performances. Grecco Romank are currently putting the finishing touches on their brutalist sewer pop second album, of which latest release 'DOGHEAD' is the first single.

Proteins of Magic: Aotearoa born, musician and multi-format artist Kelly Sherrod is Proteins of Magic. Following the release of her debut album in 2021, Kelly was a finalist for the 2022 Taite Music Prize / Auckland Live Independent Debut Award. POM has had three songs from her debut on NZ Alternative radio charts. POM currently splits her time between New Zealand and Nashville, Tennessee, where she is recording her second album.

Jazmine Mary: Neo Folk artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau, their surreal rose-tinted sounds allow listeners to be transported somewhere bold and watery. Their debut album 'The Licking of a Tangerine' was awarded the Best independent Debut award at the Taite Music Awards in May 2022. Jazmine Mary just finished a national tour supporting Reb Fountain, and will release an eagerly awaited sophomore album in early 2023.
