Check Check! R&V Soundcheck are stoked to present one of NZ’s hottest new names in DNB, CIKO. 

Known for his fast paced, technical mixing ability, and unparalleled energy, Auckland-based DJ Ciko has been on an absolute tear of late. A prominent social media DJ with nearly 10k followers on Instagram and over 40k on TikTok, Ciko has been garnering widespread recognition as one of the ones to watch in the Drum and Bass scene, with major artists like Hedex and Captain Bass engaging with his content. As well as his recent debut in Perth, CIKO has been ripping up and down Aotearoa, selling out multiple headline shows, supporting some of electronic music's biggest names like Sota, Primate, and Skepsis, and playing at Rhythm and Vines festival. A natural behind the decks and in front of the camera, with an undeniable skill for not only mixing but community engagement, 2024 is just the start for CIKO. 

 The CIKO Mode Aotearoa Tour kicks off in Auckland at Pointers on Friday, August 30, before heading to Wellington’s San Fran on Saturday, September 7. The South Island gets a taste in Dunedin, at Catacombs on Friday, September 13, with the tour wrapping up at Christchurch’s HIDE on Saturday, September 14.
