ARTIST BREAKDOWN
Samara Alofa: Tāmaki based musician/producer/songwriter, Samara Alofa will be accompanied by their friends/peers to bring to you their latest expressions of love and loss. You can expect tunes form their most recent EP 'Earth Punk' blended in with the soundscapes reminiscent of their Pasifika Heritage.
SKILAA: Based in Tāmaki Makaurau, SKILAA make hybrid Neo Soul Hip Hop Alternative music with a blend of RnB and close balkan-style melismatic vocal harmonies. Full of folklore imagery, pyrotechnic vocals and ornate grooves.
Leaping Tiger: Taking inspiration from artists such as Flume, Flying Lotus, Arca, Toro Y Moi and Thundercat to name a few, he has used his eclectic foundations to forge a unique sound blending the genres of Electronic, Alternative, Hip Hop and RnB ever since the release of his ‘Cool Down’ EP in 2018.
