The Comb, in anticipation of the release of their latest EP 'Rare Earth Tones', are returning to The Thirsty Dog's stage for a top-class night of groove.

They're a unique bunch of humans, happily brought together through their shared love of music. This uniqueness carries over to their musical output, which flirts with genres as varied as Neo-Soul, Reggae and Blues. 

The band spent the summer revealing this sound to an ever-increasing audience, notably gracing the stage at Rhythm & Vines and Soundsplash. Following a burst of songwriting and recording, the band is set to release their next body of work 'Rare Earth Tones' on May 21st.

Playing in support is HINA, another unique artist out of Tāmaki Makaurau.

Sharing her name with a deity of the moon known throughout Polynesia, HINA is a producer and classically trained multi-instrumentalist from New Zealand. Raised from a young age on an eclectic musical diet, she started writing songs in her mid-teens and has matured into her early twenties with a sound described by Happy Mag as being "simultaneously intimate and far-reaching, weaving in and out of R&B tempos and subtle tendrils of jazz with a dusting of pop sensibilities."
