Vogue Ball dedicated to Youth Empowerment

Village Collective and Aotearoa Ballroom are excited to present ‘The Matala Ball’. 

A vogueball dedicated to empowering our Takātapui, MVPFAFF+, LGBTQIA+ and Rainbow+ young people and communities through the artform of Ballroom. Our hope is that rangatahi/young people walk away from this event understanding their greatness and that the Matala Ball is one of many events we aim to host that encompasses the blossoming of a beautiful flower. 

This is a free event for our community. Please specify if you will be walking any of the following categories:

1. Beginners Performance
2. Face (New Face, Female Figure, Male Figure or Gender Non-Conforming)
3. OTA Hands Performance
4. OTA Best Dressed
5. Lip-Sync Performance
6. Runway with an Understudy (Tag-team)
7. Sex Siren (18+walkers only)
8. Performance with an understudy
