Playing an eclectic mix of funky, Latin and swing standards, the band features some legends of the New Zealand Jazz scene so expect a fun gig!! The repertoire includes material by Ronnie Jordan, Vince Jones, Hubert Laws, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove, Tito Puente, Chet Baker, Miles Davis plus some originals that have become popular additions to the band’s repertoire. The band is a vocal and multi instrumental ensemble with Latin funk and swing arrangements, and all of the personnel have played at or headlined at every Jazz Festival in New Zealand.
