Moshtix and Music SA Open Applications for 2019 Female Music Business Scholarship

After a stellar partnership year in 2018, Moshtix and Music SA are today proud to announce that applications for the 2019 Female Music Business Scholarship are now open

The scholarship aims to assist in developing the career of an aspiring female music industry professional living in South Australia.

The 2018 scholarship saw winner Elli Cleary receive her Certificate IV in Music Business, and allowed her to build connections and network with some of the best in the business at major events such as Bigsound, the AIR Awards, Umbrella: Winter City Sounds, and the South Australian Music Awards, alongside the Moshtix team.

Elli encourages all female musicians in South Australia to apply. "It's been such an incredible year of learning and gaining experience, and I'm so grateful to Moshtix and Music SA for the endless support throughout it all. I'm really excited for what's to come and I feel confident moving forward. If you're thinking about applying, I really encourage you to do so!".

Females interested in obtaining their Certificate IV in Music Business can apply for the scholarship on Music SA's website, with a winner to be chosen late December this year.

"We're thrilled to be offering this opportunity once again to an aspiring female music professional, and really enjoyed seeing Elli Cleary's progress through the 2018 scholarship. It was also terrific to be able to introduce her to some of our industry peers and friends to help her develop a network of contacts that will hopefully be of value to her as her career evolves. Elli has a great future in music ahead of her and we're thrilled that Moshtix and Music SA were able to help her along the way." Our CEO Harley Evans said.

The full-time Certificate IV in Music Business course commences in February 2019 through Music SA, located at the St Paul's Creative Centre in the CBD.
