This Australia Day (Tuesday 26 Jan), Lake Burley Griffin springs to life with The Great Aussie Picnic events.
Kicking off at 11am, the bridge to bridge walk comes alive with 5 free picnic-style hubs, plus a massive ticketed concert tees off at 1pm featuring an iconic music lineup.
Grab the kids and head down to ANKLE BITERS HUB for acrobats, live kids music from Tim & The Fuzzy Elbows, dance performances & more. Sample Canberra's finest brews and live original music curated by Music ACT including Kim Yang, Lucy Sugerman & more at RHYTHM & BREWS HUB.
ROCKIN REGATTA, starring the likes of 5150, Night Train, and H-Cee Family, is the perfect destination for the great Aussie pub soundtrack! Plus, SAND GROOVES at Aspen Island will be featuring Canberra's very best DJs playing house music all day long and GARDEN JIVE Jazz Club including J.E.P Trio & more.

The sixth hub is a massive ticketed Stage 88 Australia Day Concert and features a truly iconic music line up including James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Lee Kernaghan, Kingswood and Fanny Lumsden. All ages and socially distanced picnic-style seating, tickets are strictly limited and we strongly recommend buying early!
Early bird tickets are on sale from 8am Thursday 14th January (sign up at stage88.com.au!) with GP tickets on sale from Friday 15th January at 8am.
