Barnesy’s Back And Heading Straight For Bluesfest 2024!

Bluesfest keeps getting bigger and better! Aussie rock icon Jimmy Barnes will be making his return to the stage at Bluesfest Byron Bay after undergoing successful open-heart surgery. His very first show back will be extra special, with Jimmy performing an early evening, unique band performance on Easter Sunday (31 March) at Bluesfest.

Jimmy will be performing a one-of-a-kind show with a full band set-up that will feature both electric and acoustic performances of songs from Flesh and Wood and his extensive catalogue of hits. This special performance will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Bluesfest and the 30th anniversary of the release of his Flesh and Wood album. There will be duets and special guest appearances in what is set to be an amazing welcome back to the stage. Following a period of recovery and rehabilitation, Barnes' performance promises to be a triumphant celebration of resilience, music, and the enduring spirit of Australian rock!

Jimmy Barnes will join an already star-studded lineup that includes Welsh Crooner superstar Tom Jones and Australia's favourite Hawaiian Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Portugal. The Man, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Taj Mahal, Elvis Costello, ARIA-winning Teskey Brothers, fan favourites Matt Corby and Ziggy Alberts, plus Australia's 2024 GRAMMY winner, Tommy Emmanuel to name a few!

Bluesfest will take place over 5 days across the Easter Long Weekend from Thursday 28 March - Monday 1 April 2024 at the Byron Events Farm, Tyagarah, NSW.
