We are very sorry to announce the Whitetops Mountaineers Show scheduled for Thursday 2nd April at the Spotted Mallard has been cancelled.
Here is a message from their Management ..
“Hi folks, Many of you would have the news that Martha and Jack have cancelled their 2020 tour and are now in the air on their way home. With the cancellation of Blue Mts and Yackandandah festivals, the imminent cancellation of the National, and a long look at how quickly circumstances were changing it very easy to see the obvious decision was to get themselves home as quick as possible.”
We're sorry! This event has been cancelled...

Direct from the Mountains of Virginia- The Whitetop Mountaineers-
For fans of American old time mountain music (and roots music lovers alike), the Whitetop Mountaineers from the hills of Virginia are the genuine article. Martha Spencer and Jackson Cunningham return to Australia by popular demand. On their previous 5 visits the duo stunned and delighted audiences across the country with their performance of American mountain song & dance, old school country music– bluegrass and beyond, they are the ‘real deal’. Both are skilled multi-instrumentalists – Jackson on guitar, mandolin & claw hammer banjo, and Martha on fiddle, guitar & banjo. They are both strong vocal performers and their close harmonies are indicative of the old time and bluegrass traditions from which they draw their repertoire. In addition to being a talented musician & singer, Martha is also an exceptional dancer and teacher of the art of Appalachian dance. Jackson is also a highly skilled luthier and his beautiful hand crafted fiddles and guitars are in high demand.
