The Tear Jerkers 

One lazy Sunday afternoon on the front veranda of Wayne and Lee's South Freo digs, with good friends Mark Ralph, Judy Ralph, and Robbie Biondillo, the Tear Jerkers concept was born. Earlier that day Lee had fallen in love with a song she'd heard and played it for everyone. Straight away Judy found a harmony and Lee joined in - having played it over all day...and suddenly there was a 'moment' which left us all a little teary eyed. Soon we were all playing our favourite sentimental songs to one another and many a tear was shed, and many a beer was drunk as we laughed and sniffed and loved the lyrics, the melody and the sentiment of each other’s choices. 

In short, it was a beautiful, emotional sharing afternoon of kindred spirits. So lovely, we decided to give it a go, and bring it to the stage - and you lucky people! Since then we've shared song ideas, met and played, teared-up, and loved this very sentimental journey.
 
 So here's to beautiful friends who call by. Here's to lazy Sunday afternoons. Here's to our neighbours who never complain about our racket.  Here's to all of those fantastic songwriters. Here's to venues which support live music, and here's to the people who support live music.
