Turning heads quickly, Godlands is the product of old school sounds meeting new school methods. A forerunner of the new wave of Australian electronic music, this young upstart has already conquered some of the biggest festival stages the country has to offer... but this time she’s giving back to some of her most loyal Hellraisers with THE PROMISED LANDS; a personally-curated event showcasing some of the finest rap and bass talent that Australia has to offer.

Launching at Hobart’s iconic warehouse venue The Goods Shed on Saturday 07 December, THE PROMISED LANDS brings together a wild array of high-energy talent spanning Godlands’ closest sonic influences.

Storming the stage with his dynamic live show, Zimbabwe-via-Brisbane rap artist Carmouflage Rose will be bringing his latest single “SELE” down south for an exclusive Tasmanian show. Proving to be a modern festival classic, Carmouflage Rose has recently brought his fire-fuelled sets to Groovin The Moo, FOMO Festival, Spilt Milk and The Grass Is Greener to name a few.

Currently on the road supporting ShockOne, Melbourne’s multi-talented producer, DJ and fashion designer Lucille Croft will also be making a welcome return to Hobart bringing a mix of bass house and mid-tempo heaters. Rounding out the bill is the spicy Brisbane producer Yvng Jalapeño, with his wonky bass scorchers that are fast making him one of the hottest names in the scene.

Speaking on the new project, Godlands said “From rattling barriers at my first show to closing Falls Festival, to selling out a theatre on my EP tour, the crowd in Tasmania is really like no other. When we scoped ideas for where to hold The Promised Lands, I couldn't get past the idea of Tasmania - the love, the memories, and the hard sweaty bass is what The Promised Lands is all about. So, introducing the event in Tassie is my way of saying, “HEY I LOVE YOU” to the constant support those Hellraisers show me. Sometimes Hobart misses out, and that's not what I'm about - I've handpicked some seriously talented friends to play and really rattle them diemens from the corners of your soul.

THE PROMISED LANDS is one for the cult-followers and loyal Hellraisers. They day-ones as well as the fresh fans. This one is for the history books.
