On the 23rd of November, The Spotted Mallard will be transformed into another world, another time, as Oztentatious Occasions proudly brings you The Crystal Ball, a masquerade event straight out of the land of Thra.

 For one night only, UrRu and Skeksis alike will come together to relive the magic of the original Dark Crystal film and to celebrate the release of its newest addition, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Come out for a night of music, dancing, performances, costumes, libations, and frivolity.

Though The Dark Crystal is our main inspiration, we also adore creatures from other realms or lands—be they fireys or fellbeasts or fauns or fae—so feel free to turn to them for your fantastical creations. We also suggest basing your attire on your favourite crystal; come in your most scintillating sapphire suit or your most glorious garnet gown. This is The Crystal Ball, after all. And please note, while this is a fancy dress event and costumes are strongly encouraged, all are welcome to attend.
 
 There will be a costume contest with multiple prizes, including $100 cash for the best dressed. We will also have a raffle full of coveted collectables and curiosities. We are currently offering discounted raffle ticket packs in advance (10 tickets for $10+bf) in our ticket sales section.

VIP tickets come with access to a reserved area with booth seating, tables, a free drink, and a feast of grazing platters. They will also have seating at the front of the stage to guarantee a great spot to view the performances. Each VIP will also be given a gift bag full of keepsake items to commemorate the occasion. There is an extremely limited number of VIP tickets available, so get in fast!
