After releasing his stunning debut cut ‘From The Start’, Australian-born Sweden-based indie-roots artist Ryan Edmond returns with his impressive follow up single ‘Stockholm’ - produced by Craig Harnath (Motor Ace, Jet, Bodyjar) and Jez Giddings (Paul Dempsey, The Living End, Ash Grunwald) at Hot House Studios, Melbourne.

Opening with beautifully plucked melodious acoustic guitar, ‘Stockholm’ swiftly kicks into gear with its steadfast rhythmic section, meticulously arranged lead guitar and mesmerising vocal melodies; delivering on another endearing effort from the rising songster. As the track arrives at the bridge, a haunting arrangement of brass offers an impressive and striking change in dynamics.

Edmond talks about the meaning behind ‘Stockholm’:

“'Stockholm' is about the similarities and differences of living in two different parts of the world. From the beaches and relaxed vibes of Australia to the mountains, forests and historical architecture of Sweden. I want people to be able to interpret the song in their own way although for me "Stockholm" is also about being in a relationship with someone from another country and the beauty of being able to live in different cities and countries but also about the challenges that come up. Such as trying to find a place that feels like home for both of you”.

Edmond’s debut single ‘From The Start’ was met with critical acclaim from the likes of triple j, triple j Unearthed, Clash Magazine (UK), Pilerats, Music Feeds, Forte Mag and AAA Backstage.

Edmond is a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter who hails from the small town of Rockingham, Western Australia. As a cornet player, he has performed with various acclaimed bands and artists, however in the last few years has begun writing, singing and touring under his own name.

Edmond is currently based in Sweden and has recently been spending time in Australia and the UK recording and touring.
