Join us for an exciting and innovative school holiday program designed for 12-14 year olds, where creativity meets technology!
On Wednesday 17th July at Taieri Network, 35 Reid Ave, Mosgiel, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, this unique workshop focuses on re-purposing computer keyboards. Participants will delve into the world of sustainable technology by dismantling old keyboards and harvesting acrylic from TVs and monitors.
Under expert guidance, they will participate in projects such as:
- crafting personalised peg boards transforming electronic waste into functional art
- engage in soldering activities gaining practical skills in electronics and circuitry
- using sewing machines to create stitched projects.
It's a perfect blend of creativity, environmental awareness, and technological exploration, offering young minds a chance to innovate while making a positive impact. There will be opportunities for games and physical activities throughout the day.
