Discover the magic of dance as The New Zealand Dance Company return with their beautiful performance of Matariki for Tamariki.

From the twinkling whetū (stars), to the rustling leaves in the ngahere (forests), the mighty maunga (mountains), to the crashing waves of the majestic moana (ocean), watch and learn about the significance of the Māori New Year through storytelling, dance and song.

Following the performance, a 45-minute workshop will see tamariki use their bodies and voices to be immersed into the magic of Matariki – enjoying the freedom of dancing with the play of imagination!

Early bird tickets will be available from 10am, Wednesday 29 July until sold-out. All remaining tickets will be released to the public from Friday 9 October. Sign up to our waitlist below to be the first to reserve your spot!
