Learn new skills and meet your music community at The Push's Music Industry Masterclasses!

The Push's Music Industry Masterclasses is a FREE workshop series, giving young people the opportunity to develop practical skills and get the knowledge needed to pursue a career in music.

Through these workshops, you can expect to hear from industry professionals and meet with like-minded peers to expand your networks and gain the tools and advice needed for your pathway to a career in the Australian music industry.

Music Industry Masterclasses are delivered as a part of the Victorian Government’s Youth Strategy: Our Promise, Your Future.

Music Industry Masterclasses in May – Releasing Your Music

Back to our regular Thursday programming – Thursday 16 May. For our next workshop of the Music Industry Masterclasses series, we’ll be finding out everything there is to know about Releasing Your Music.

Join us back at The Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne to hear from Molly Jackson (A&R at Gyrostream +TOPS Presenter at triple j), Cam Noble (Managing Director ACTS artist agency) and Sara Glaidous (Australian Music Producer, triple j Unearthed) as their break down their insights, tips and tricks for everything you need to know on releasing your music. Find out how to get your music online, get heard, and what you need to consider before, during and after your release.

The session will be facilitated by Sameer Ahsen, Executive Producer on the Hip Hop show at SYN Radio, and we'll cap the event off with a live music performance by Lili-Violet!

There'll also be FREE PIZZA with vegan and gluten-free options.

While the program is FREE, registrations are essential to attend online or in person!
