Explore your relationship with your senses in this unique wine tasting that investigates just how much light and food can change one wine.
About the Host:
The host, Jake Tipler is a consummate wine lush, experienced wine host, a graduate of viticulture and oenology, and champion of Central Otago wines. Jake has spent most of his career investigating the relationships between our senses and how they affect the wine-tasting experience. As a curator of multi-sensory wine-tasting experiences; from pairing Shiraz with Stainless Steel to Pinot and Porches, Jake loves to take wine out of its comfort zone and challenge wine lovers to find a deeper appreciation for wine through all of our senses.
About the Wine:
Mount Edward are Bio gro certified organic, owning all their fruit across 5 estate vineyards, all in Central Otago, collectively producing wines of provenance and pleasure alike.
Traditional winemaking, a healthy regard to science, all without a rulebook telling them what to do or how to look. The less you do the better the wine is a truism that guides us via minimal intervention such as no fining, filtration, aids or additives.
