Lily Stiven Drops Pop single 'NOT MY OWN' and Announces Headline Gig at Big Fan
Emerging Auckland indie-pop/R&B artist Lily Stiven will release her new single, NOT MY OWN, on Friday October 3rd 2025, and celebrate with her debut headline show at Big Fan, giving fans a first chance to hear the track live alongside a selection of originals and unreleased songs.

At just 18, Lily Stiven is making her mark on the Aotearoa's music scene with her soulful voice, heartfelt songwriting, and unforgettable performances that leaves a lasting impression. Growing up just north of Auckland, she has been performing and writing music from a young age, quickly earning recognition for her authentic sound that blends indie-pop and R&B influences.
Lily is a three-time finalist in the Play It Strange songwriting competitions and has been mentored by producer Phodiso Moeng Dintwe, helping her refine her artistry and explore new creative directions. In 2024, she was awarded the NZ On Air Artist Development Fund, supporting her independent releases, including 'What’s the Worst I Could Do', look where I am' and 'Williams Tragedy'.
With her debut EP currently in the works, Lily is set to take a major step forward on October 3rd, when she headlines her first-ever show at Big Fan, celebrating the release of her brand-new single, Not My Own. Fans can expect an intimate but electric night of originals, unreleased tracks, and the bold, honest storytelling that has quickly made Lily one of New Zealand’s most promising emerging artists.

Liberty is a 20-year-old pop artist from Hawke’s Bay, now based in Auckland. Known for her raw, emotional songwriting inspired by artists like Gracie Abrams, she makes music for the thoughts she can’t say out loud. Her debut single “I Wanna” (115K streams) was followed by “Are We Dead” (60K) and “Don’t Worry Bout It” (48K), earning radio play on ZM, The Edge, and Radio NZ. With 350K social followers, Liberty has opened for Sublime, played Outfield Festival, featured in Beyond the Beat, and is set to perform at Rhythm and Vines 2025.
STAR
Star is a 17-year-old musician emerging from the West Coast town of Raglan. In January 2025 she made her festival debut at Soundsplash and has since played multiple live gigs at local venues including The Yard. She is soon set to release her debut single, marking an exciting set in her music journey.
