HEAL THE HAURAKI
Series Preview Event
You are warmly invited to an evening to celebrate the inspiration, courage, and determination of people and communities working together to heal some of the ecological challenges we face in the Hauraki Gulf. We celebrate the transformative power of working together to heal our natural world.
Heal The Hauraki is a three part docuseries highlighting just some of the incredible restoration & protection work taking place in the Hauraki Gulf. Each episode is a ‘day in the life’ of a local leader working with and for communities to restore and rejuvenate the health of the Hauraki Gulf.
We will preview the upcoming release of episodes and feature a panel discussion led by Cassie Roma (series co-director & co-producer), where we will hear directly from the leaders who share their ethos and purpose in the series. Our panel will include the wonderful:
- Nicola Macdonald, Chair, Ngāti Manuhiri Settlement Trust
- Bianca Ranson, National Conservation Advocate, Forest & Bird
- Charmaine Bailie, Te Taiao Practitioner
- Mandy Kupenga, Series Creator
