Six years after their inaugural tour in 2013, Dyson Stringer Cloher’s self-titled debut album was released through Milk! Records in October 2019. Proclaimed a Songwriters Supergroup (Bandcamp Daily), DSC (joined by Augie March’s Dave Williams on drums) launched the record to rapturous crowds in sold out venues across the country in November 2019 with follow-up headline dates and festival performances at Woodford, Riverboats, WOMADelaide and Panama Festival scheduled for early 2020.

Recorded at Jeff Tweedy’s ‘The Loft’ in Chicago, USA in April 2019 with Wilco’s Glenn Kotche on drums and Grammy Award winner Tom Schick engineering, Dyson Stringer Cloher’s self-produced debut long player is a manifesto for women and gender non-conforming artists too often relegated to a supporting role (The Music).

The album and subsequent live shows have heralded the arrival of this fully formed and expertly realised collaboration as a powerful and important presence in the Australian songwriting landscape 'summon(ing) a spirit that is far more than the sum of their individual parts.' (Sydney Morning Herald)
