Darling James is releasing new single ‘Thinking What You’re Thinking’ that reveals his take on childhood, growing up, 20th century history and just how confusing 2019 is! ! The seeds of the new track were created on a cheap sampler while Darling James was on holiday in France late in 2018. Back home in Melbourne he put the finishing touches on the song complete with a twinkle-in-the-eye vocal and an upbeat chorus guaranteed to be in your head for days. ‘Thinking What You’re Thinking’ is the only song that manages to namecheck two Australian ex-prime ministers in the first verse while also commenting on heady student politics, the problems with satire and hyper-masculinity.
