Chasing Giants celebrate the release of their new single "Hungry For Love"at The Vanguard on Sunday 15th Decemeber, with supports from Phat Reef + St Joan.

Chasing Giants sound has formed based on their love for strong lyrical content paired with catchy hooks and solid grooves. The band thrives in live performance, having played together at some of Sydney’s biggest venues. The velvety vocals, ambient guitars and catchy melodies make them a band to watch out for.

St Joan are a meticulous band; often it’s the space in between the notes that provokes as much of a reaction as the ones that are strummed. Daniel’s commanding vocals, reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, are a call to arms as the sound envelopes you. Meanwhile, Christopher and Alasdair add a dynamic drum and bass unison that amplifies the trio's sound to huge psychedelia heights– it’s hard to believe that only three people are behind such surrounding music. That’s the result of five years of songwriting and soul-searching.

Phat Reef, a band of five individual personalities and experiences coming together to form a cohesive yet unique sound. Together they experiment with writing in genres ranging from pop to rock to indie, and everything in between. It's safe to say Phat Reef is a sound you won't forget.
