Bridges - LIFE OF THE PARTY - EP Release Tour

One of Aotearoa’s most exciting new indie-pop acts Bridges is celebrating the release of her sophomore EP LIFE OF THE PARTY, out March 20. Performing her cinematic, hook-laden style of pop with her exciting live band, the Otāutahi Christchurch-born, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland-based artist will be taking in the two cities this April, bringing her synth-soaked guitar-driven show to Aotearoa.
Bridges’ gained critical acclaim with her track ‘Close To You’— a single from the upcoming sophomore EP — which was named "a song you need to know" by Rolling Stone AU/NZ. Her upcoming EP also includes the single ‘Lungs’, which was playlisted on Spotify’s “Pop n’ Fresh” (audience of 130k), as well as the title track ‘Life Of The Party’, which accelerated to more than 55k YouTube streams in its first two weeks of release.
This show will bring to life the brand new EP, unreleased tracks, as well as music from her 2023 acclaimed debut EP. Amber Carly Williams will be performing as the night's special guest, with an intimate solo performance.
About Bridges:
Bridges is the artist project of Ōtautahi Christchurch-born, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland based songwriter Rachel Hamilton, with her exciting live band consisting of Rāwiri Waters on drums (Kāti Māmoe, Ngāi Tahu), Bray Jeffrey on keys and guitar, and Sam Nash on bass.
Her 2023 debut EP was met with acclaim and featured on RNZ, MTV, The Hits, Coup de Main and more; playlisted on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds Pop’ (200k), ‘The Local List Aotearoa’ (18k) and ‘Fresh Finds AU & NZ’ (18k).
2024 saw Bridges be selected to be mentored by Fazerdaze via the APRA Aotearoa Mentorship Programme, and perform as a showcasing artist at the 2024 Going Global Music Summit. 2025 saw her feature on ZM and The Edge; 2026 has kicked off with a bang, with Bridges performing at Music In Parks 2026 on the bill with the AMA-Nominated artist CHAII and award-winning artist Emerson.
