Featuring members of iconic Australian bands Mental as Anything, Dragon, Jenny Morris, Wendy Mathews, The Flood, and Deni Hines. 

This incredible 4 piece lineup faithfully recreates the sounds of Eric Clapton’s 50 year career. A career that has spanned rock music and all its incantations. From the early boogie blues of John Mayalls Blues Breakers, to the physchodelic hard rock sounds of Cream and into Eric’s solo 70s roots music. The pop sequencer driven 80s beats provide generation X with their soundtrack. The night is not complete without homage to Eric’s hit MTV unplugged set. Eric Clapton made music for five decades and three generations! 

The wealth of experience is evident from this band which has toured Australia for 30 years. Each member has made countless appearances on stages large and small. Festivals, touring, radio, TV, they’ve done it all!

Peter Gray: Electric bass, double bass, fretless bass and vocals
Jacob Cook: Drums Percussion and vocals
Tim Wedde: keyboards, organ, synths, accordion and vocals 

Blues Power is a funky grooving rhythm section with soaring, authentic vintage guitar tones, plush keyboard synths and pianos, and Clapton’s signature acoustic unplugged sounds. Not forgetting impeccable four part vocal harmony!
