DOORS OPEN 7PM // MUSIC STARTS 8PM

With her sun-drenched voice and songs about far-flung corners of the world, Anna Smyrk paints stunning pictures of places she’s lived- from the sapphire waters of the Solomon Islands to a dusty city in Cambodia.

She comes to the Mallard to launch her brand new EP; a collection of songs about her time spent living in wild places. Her live show features glowing harmonies, masterful violin and mandolin, songs in several languages, and lots of stories.

She’ll be joined on stage by Alex Burkoy (Tinpan Orange), Phoebe Elsworth (WVRBVBY), Lauren Irwin-Ray (Belly Savalas) and some special surprise guests.

Anna’s new EP is out on November 1st, but singles from the record are already getting love on Double J, ABC, BBC and community radio. AU Review called it "a glorious piece of musical storytelling " and Soundcheck magazine said it “packs a heart-rending and elegant punch.”

Anna has come a long way since growing up on a lavender farm in Central Victoria.

Her first solo EP was described as “exquisite” by ABC Radio National. She has performed at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Queenscliff Music Festival, among many others.
